Tim Macer FMRS.  Tim made his name as a writer and advisor on technology in the research sector over many years and for the last two decades was MD of the independent consultancy Meaning Ltd. Having retired in 2023, Tim took on the role of co-chair of the Association for Survey Computing (ASC), having served on its executive committee since 2003. Tim was awarded fellowship of the Market Research Society (MRS) in 2022. He now lives in the Canary Islands, Spain.
