Dan Parker-Smith is a professional filmmaker, accomplished researcher and visual storyteller. As co-founder of EXPLNERS — a company that creates explainer videos to communicate research and insight stories — his work sits at the intersection of research rigour and documentary-style, journalism-driven storytelling. He’s produced videos for clients including Rolls-Royce SMR, Reach Plc, Channel 4, ITV, Five Guys, Just Eat, MARS, PepsiCo and the ICO. EXPLNERS was nominated for the MRS’ Best New Venture award in 2025, and Dan was recently named a Greenbook Future List 2026 Honouree — one of 20 insight thought leaders recognised globally.
