David Wright holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and has a diverse career with 7 years as an environmental scientist, 12 years in technology innovation, and 11 years in research technology.

Starting in Environmental Science, David moved from New Zealand to London to immerse himself in the startup environment of the early 2000s, which marked his introduction to the tech world. He later returned to New Zealand to work on Mobile Internet at New Zealand Telecom. His career journey also took him to mobile startups, a role with American Express in Singapore focusing on mobile apps, and then back to London where he ventured into market research.

In his role as Technology Innovator for Research for a large global agency, David developed and tested various AI technologies, particularly Conversational AI, appreciating its potential in understanding human behaviors. It was in this phase of his career that he collaborated with Karlien. They found common ground in their enthusiasm for innovative ideas and technology, with David offering his technological insights and Karlien providing a deep understanding from the client’s point of view.

David is optimistic about the ongoing advancements in artificial intelligence, especially as it evolves to enable enhanced human creativity and functionality.
